Publications

The Center of Art of East Asia is dedicated to exploring new directions, issues, topics, and methodologies that help shape the field of East Asian art in a broader, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary context.

Since 2000, the Center has organized its annual symposium and published more than ten edited volumes of papers contributed by the speakers and other authors. Most of the volumes are included in the Center for the Art of East Asia Symposia Series, co-published and distributed by Art Media Resources in Chicago. The Center also publishes collections of thematic papers, exhibition catalogues, and research projects to make available the results of its endeavors in a wide range of topics, interests, and initiatives.
