Digital Sinology Workshop
In November 2019, the CAEA participated in an international workshop on “Digital Sinology” organized by Haun Saussy and Jeff Tharsen that was held at UChicago in Regenstein Library. The CAEA panel included presentations by Wei-cheng Lin, Charles Crable, and Katherine Tsiang who spoke about our Center’s digital imaging projects and its technologies. Graduate student Zhenru Zhou also presented her digital renderings of the Mogao Buddhist Caves at Dunhuang.
